As we welcome the arrival of fall, GOAT Social is excited to introduce our Fall 2024 intern from the University of Florida!
This fall, GOAT Social Media is thrilled to have Lindsi Cohn as our exceptional intern. Lindsi is diving into hands-on learning in the digital marketing world, bringing with her a passion for growth and innovation. With her boundless enthusiasm and fresh ideas, Lindsi is eager to make meaningful contributions to the GOAT Social Media team.
Lindsi Cohn is a rising junior at the University of Florida. She is majoring in advertising and has a double minor in innovation and public relations. Lindsi grew up in South Florida. She has always enjoyed advertising since she was little, especially finding joy in jingles and fun commercials. The field of social media interests Lindsi because she believes it is a way to connect with her peers from- camp friends, classmates, family, and beyond. Lindsi enjoys how content on social media can be shared instantly, and she finds social media to be a fantastic method for advertising and marketing endeavors. She also enjoys how flexible the field is and how it is constantly innovating with new features and advancements.
During Lindsi’s innovation school program, she has the Fall semester off, which motivated her to apply to GOAT Social Media. Social Media is a form of marketing that has always interested her. Lindsi believes this internship is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally and gain real experience in the field. Lindsi enjoys the creativity behind advertising campaigns, and she has gained experience on a collegiate level while being a member of two advertising organizations. She is a copywriter for UF Advent and a director of website design for ADSociety.
In her spare time, Lindsi enjoys reading and playing board games. She is animal-loving; she loves her hamster, betta fish, and two pet dogs, Shayna and Menchie. In the future, Lindsi’s career goals are leaning toward copywriting or project management. She enjoys writing and believes she has the organizational skills to lead a powerful marketing team.
Regarding trends, and she stays on top of them, Lindsi will either hear new things from friends or see them on her recent/trending posts on her "for you page." Instagram is her preferred social media platform because she appreciates that Instagram allows individual users, influences, and businesses to build a brand image through photos or videos on display for those whom they wish to see. Instagram also evokes a feeling of nostalgia for her because it was the first platform she used growing up. Lindsi believes this internship will help her deepen her understanding of social media engagement, and she is eager for practical field experience this Fall.
