What college do you attend and what did you study?
For undergrad I attended Florida State University and earned my BA in Theatre along with two minors in Communications and Education. For graduate school, I attended the University of Florida and earned my MA in Mass Communications with a focus in Social Media. Go noles & go gators!
Where did you grow up?
I was born on Long Island and lived in New York until I was five and then moved to South Florida. I grew up in Parkland, which I loved. It was the small town feel yet close enough to major cities, airports, and arenas.
What interests you in social media management?
Since I was a little girl, I have always been fascinated with technology and communications. I remember always being the go-to person in the family for computer and internet help. I used to create websites and would edit silly videos for fun. As social networking sites started popping up, I used to beg my parents to let me have an account. From AIM, to MySpace, to Facebook and everything in-between, I was soaking it all in. I loved being able to share content and interact with friends. Fast forward many years and I am still so fascinated with social media. This field is constantly changing and evolving. It keeps me on my toes and learning.
What is your favorite social media platform?
Definitely Facebook. There's so much content to get lost in and I love it. Currently the Facebook groups feature has been my favorite tool. I love to craft and use my Cricut machine in my free time, which is why I joined the Cricut Facebook group. I find the inspiration for so many projects from other members on there. There's a group for everything on Facebook!
What advice would you give your high school self?
You do not have to have it all figured out. There's a lot of stress placed on high schoolers. From SAT Prep, to college applications, to AP classes and extracurricular activities, it can be overwhelming. Plan for the best but enjoy as much as you can!

Is there a brand or a company you would love to work with on social media?
Disney! I have always admired the Disney company as a whole. Even as it has evolved over the years, the magic and the message is consistent. The branding is spot on. Who doesn't love Mickey ice cream bars and Minnie ears?

"Home work" by Julie Andrews. I love reading memoirs and biographies of inspiring people. It truly motivates me.
Must-Have Technology?
My Apple Watch! I remember anxiously awaiting the first version and now I have the Apple Watch 5. I love how easy it is to use and it helps me stay active. Working behind a computer all day can be tiring and strenuous on the back, so it reminds me to stand and get those steps in daily!
Hidden Talent?
I love to choreograph musicals. I work with local theatres in my free time and it's so refreshing. Some of my most recent musicals choreographed include Annie, Footloose, Flashdance, Bye Bye Birdie, The Little Mermaid, Shrek, A Christmas Carol, 13!, and so many more.
