Tap Shoes, Client Meetings, and the Power of Showing Up Fully

Make the client trip. Take the tap class. Go to the Big Apple. 🗽✨

This month, I took a quick trip to New York City that was packed with purpose—and a little rhythm.

The main reason? Attending the annual Spring Benefit for one of our long-time clients, Camphill Foundation. While we’ve been working together since 2020, this was my very first time meeting the team in person. And let me tell you—there is nothing like face-to-face connection to take a partnership to the next level. We brainstormed, aligned on future campaigns, and most importantly, had the chance to celebrate the impact of their work together.

Of course, when you’re in New York, you make the most of it. So I packed in:

✅ Productive meetings with other GOAT Social Media clients

🎭 A night at the theater (hello, Broadway, my first love!)

👞 And yes… a tap class. I’ve been tap dancing since I was three years old, and stepping back into the studio felt like coming home. It reminded me that creativity, movement, and joy are not just hobbies—they’re fuel for everything I do, including how I lead my business.

This trip wasn’t just about meetings and moments. It was about presence.

When you show up fully—in your work, your network, and your passions—you build stronger relationships, gain fresh perspective, and tap back into the very things that make your work meaningful.

Whether you’re booking a client visit, reconnecting with an old passion, or simply saying yes to something that excites you, don’t underestimate the ripple effect. These moments of presence often lead to your most inspired ideas and authentic collaborations.

So here’s your reminder: Make the trip. Take the class. Follow the spark.

You never know what it’ll ignite. 💡
