Q4 Madness, Holiday Magic: Behind the Scenes at the Southern Christmas Show

If Q4 had a slogan this year, it would simply be: hold on tight.

I landed back in Florida from a client event in Germany… unpacked, repacked, and turned right around for Charlotte, North Carolina. Three days later, I can officially say: my feet are tired, my camera roll is full, and my holiday spirit is at an all-time high.

Because there’s nothing quite like the Southern Christmas Show.

This marks my fourth season supporting the Southern Christmas Show, and it still blows me away. Every single year. The scale, the creativity, the community—it’s unlike anything else in the events world.

With more than 400 vendors spread across the equivalent of 11 football fields, this is the largest Christmas market in North America. And yes… that means your girl is running, weaving, darting, storytelling, filming, and occasionally—shopping. (It’s research. I swear.)

A Wonderland Built for Holiday Lovers

Before you enter the show floor, you step through a custom-designed themed entrance that sets the tone for your entire visit. This year’s theme? 🎅 Santa’s Workshop Past themes have included: ✨ 12 Days of Christmas ⚓ Nauti or Nice ❄️ Winter Wonderland

Each one is fully immersive, beautifully detailed, and instantly transports you into the holiday spirit.

From there, you walk into the Old Towne marketplace, a charming village filled with unique artisan finds, baked goods, handcrafted gifts, décor, and the kind of treasures you only discover at shows like this.

And believe me—shoppers come prepared. Rolling bags. Wagons. Carts. The pros know the drill. And they fill them.

As a social media agency owner, these in-person moments are what fuel me. Nothing compares to:
