Move Over Emily in Paris… It’s Kassie in Germany (Again!)

There’s something special about writing from an airport—half exhausted, half buzzing, fully grateful. As I sit here waiting for my flight home, I can’t help but reflect on this past week in Frankfurt.

Traveling internationally for client events is something I’ll never take for granted. Each trip feels like a reminder of how far GOAT Social Media has come, and how much I truly love what we do.

A Week of Collaboration, Creativity, and Community

Returning to Germany to support IGEL Technology at their event was nothing short of inspiring. Working with their marketing team—people who genuinely love what they do—makes every long day, timezone switch, and unexpected travel twist completely worth it.

Yes, there were travel “plot twists” (canceled flights, delays, late luggage… the trilogy), but there were also moments that made me stop and think: This is exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Like watching SNAP! perform live at the conference and instantly being transported to the 90s because rhythm truly is a dancer. 🎶Or stationed during a keynote, headset on, adrenaline high, watching our content hit social in perfect sync with the announcements happening onstage.

This work energizes me. It challenges me. It pushes me. And it reminds me time and time again why I built GOAT Social Media in the first place.

Behind the Scenes of Live Social: My Theatre Kid Era Returns 🎭

Running live social during a keynote isn’t just “posting in real time.”It’s a fully choreographed performance—and yes, my theatre background comes right into play.

Here’s a peek behind the curtain:

Blocking the Scene

We start with structure: mapping captions, hashtags, speaker tags, and key moments. We sync with technical writers, event leads, and the content team to make sure every beat lands exactly as intended.

Rehearsal Time

We coordinate with photographers across the venue to ensure we know what shots are coming and when. Timing in live social is everything—one minute too early or too late, and the moment’s magic fades.

Showtime

During the keynote, the headsets go on. It becomes a live calling of cues: Photos drop in → We edit → We schedule or publish → We tag → We move to the next moment. It’s orchestrated chaos in the best possible way.

Improv Included

Just like a live show, there’s always room for the unexpected. Speakers add surprises. The audience reacts. Announcements shift. And we pivot in real time to keep the energy alive on social.

The Final Bow

Posts hit the stage, partners are tagged, and engagement rolls in like applause after a big number. It’s storytelling in motion—every beat counts.

Heading Home With a Full Heart

As I board my flight back to Florida, I feel proud, inspired, and thankful. Proud to be part of this event. Inspired by the people I met. Thankful for the opportunities GOAT Social Media continues to create.

Here’s to more moments like this, more collaborations, more creativity, and more stamps in the GOAT passport.
