GOAT Social Media Turns 8!

Officially 8 years in business! 🐐 If you told me back in 2017 where this little agency would take me, I never would have believed it. What started with just me, my laptop, and a whole lot of determination has grown into something so much bigger than I could have ever imagined.

Over the past 8 years, GOAT has taken me around the world — literally. From client events in Germany to speaking at conferences here in the U.S., from being featured in the Wall Street Journal to launching a podcast, the opportunities have been nothing short of surreal. We’ve partnered with major brands while still holding close to our roots of supporting the local South Florida businesses that make our community thrive. That balance has always been important to me, and I’m proud we’ve stayed true to it.

But here’s the truth: you don’t get to 8 years alone. Every milestone GOAT has hit has been because of the people who believed in me and this little dream I decided to chase. I am endlessly grateful to the mentors who offered guidance, the partners and collaborators who shared their expertise, the contractors who brought their creativity to life, and of course my family and friends who cheered me on during the highs and held me steady during the lows.

And then there’s Sofia — the longest-standing “MVG” (Most Valuable GOAT). She’s been by my side through so many chapters of this journey and deserves the biggest shoutout for the heart, passion, and brilliance she brings to GOAT every single day.

Another cornerstone of this journey has been our home base at General Provision in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Since 2020, GP has been more than just an office — it’s been a community where creativity thrives, ideas flow, and collaboration happens organically. Having a place that feels like home has truly fueled our growth.

Of course, none of this would matter without the clients. You are the reason we get to do what we love every day. Thank you for trusting us with your brands, your voices, and your stories. Each project, campaign, and post is a chance to make an impact, and we don’t take that privilege lightly.

So here we are: 8 years of growth, grit, and GOAT. This milestone is a reminder of how far we’ve come — but also a spark of excitement for what’s ahead. Because if the first 8 years were this wild and rewarding, I can only imagine what the next chapter will bring.
